Bokura no Shokutaku (BL, Japan, 2023) final review

short summary: Despite his flair for cooking, salaryman Yutaka finds it difficult to eat in public. All of that alters when he meets Tane and Minoru, two brothers who are a great deal older than he is, and they want him to teach them how to prepare his delectable meal. As soon as they start sharing meals together, Yutaka finds himself having a change of heart.

After a week and something I finally feel disconnected to this series enough to actually speak about it.

I can't believe such an overload of goodness and sweetness actually exists. The exclamation “YES!!! KILL ME WITH CUTENESS!!“ (ToMyStar, MDL) is maybe over the board, but it probably fits the best in summarizing what we all feel. There isn't much regarding the relationship between the two male leads,  if you are searching for physical activities, there are better suited Japanese series for that, even currently airing ones. But if you are searching for the best true relationship with storytelling  based with no fear of showing to each other the nice sides of ourselves, where we can comfortably treat each other nicely and show each other respect,  kindness,  niceness, cuteness, and overall behave as characters with traits worthy of praise, then this is the story for you.  It shows all the worthy fragileness 

I found so far the best comment about this series: the connection to the BLgenre to be exceptionally rare and I find that it's true.  Many times in the journal it tries to achieve  passionateness  where other types of emotions would bring much better results.  If you want an instant Overload of wild emotions,  searching for it in the BL genre category is probably the correct guess,  and   at the same time you really need to choose wisely.  Because more projects are butchered in this respect then  down well.  and if you are searching for manual how to write this moments scenes stories,  then searching in Boreham genre is probably as well as safe ticket because this is what they -  creators story writers storytellers actors -  try to create because this brings views and money.  and it's a safe ticket.  data speaks loud and they are going to tell you how many people watch this series and it is a great number of these. So if you want your money back to get you invested in this project you need to insert it right.

 but creating niceness over excitement Ambition is incredibly rare and Incredibly difficult -  if you want to create it -  and incredibly easy -  if you have it in yourself and  the only thing you actually do is putting it on paper.  But mind you even niceeness needs to be treated, educated and learned.  and shared.  and cultivate it.  so it is not a given.  and manuals for creating this environment compared to depression at once our way more complicated

 because if you want to do it properly,  you are going to have a freaking hard time. And if you wish to arouse it In yourself so you can write better and easier these high quality stories,  then I can guarantee you that this is the only thing that is for really long run to do,  and at the same time it's a very unpleasant journey because you are constantly being thrown into  danger of being hurt.  and that is not something that people want to face on a regular basis in everyday life.

That is why it is so rare and that is why this series is not ever going to be perceived as cheap.

Because it knows where the value matters and what can be bypassed.

Because it speaks about the most human things in the most fragile way.

 because it is giving for free Emotion that people try to achieve and it is not educating  you about it,  it is giving it to you as a small package of here I am here it is what you want to have in your Maslow's hierarchy of needs - enjoy.

So to sum it up search here for kindness not for excitement because as in this case of Japanese series many times you are not going to find there these things like passion,  no matter how birth Japanese actually is for creating passionate stories -  but they see things maybe more efficiently and they do things maybe more touch to the realness then is usual these days among other countries and other societies. And for it we are forever grateful to the Japanese and its productions.
