Pros And Cons of Reaction Channels from Experience

So, reaction channels. I can't say that I have the best experience with them. I can't say I have the worst experience with them. The good part is that you are doing something for people about things that you already know that people like and want to watch, it's just the question of time when you are going to gain views and subscribers for what you are doing and you are going to get them for sure, because after all, it's not about you but about the things you are doing – aka watching and reacting to. And you are doing those things for a community. So, it's relatively easy to find supporters for you. If you have the patience and time to spend doing those videos that is. The wrong or the darker side about it is everything else. You are going to have to deal with strikes, you are going to deal with monetization and demonetizations, with opinion of other ppl that your tons of hours spent on it are not worth pay, and I would agree, after all you can cook for yourself, do your nails and hair, you can grow your food and create presents for Christmas all by yourself, and after, all you don't need to use computers, tellies and all of the other good things, thank you for your opinion.

You are never going to figure out why you were punished since YouTube don't communicate these things concretely. You are going to have to fight reused content there too, you are going to have to deal with copyright, you are never going to have the most money out of your channel just because most of the money flows... well, what is it? Gaming channels? I had this feeling there is some other type of content even before gaming. But... yeah... the pay is even poorer than you can find on the internet. Usually for reaction channels money flows to the original material owners or YouTube. Well... in that reality you really don't get why on top of that the channels and owners give you a strike. You are always going to be in fear over when your channel is going to be deleted or if something worse is not going to go your way. Let's not forget about those who think that they own the compilation videos and are going to be annoyed for you reacting to their compilations, no matter that they don't ask the people on those compilations if they wanted to be in their compilations or not and didn't ask permission for using there someone else's... well... material. 

What more can I say?

Enjoy creating reaction videos, listen to what peoplewould like for you to react to. Be consistent and transparent for your audiences. And if possible don't care about YouTube and always make a backup.

For now, I can probably recommend patreon. Create an account there ASAP. It's for free. And I think by doing so you are gaining the advantage that if you ever decided to create something for people and wanted to not put it on YouTube or wanted to make a backup, you will already be able to upload right away there, l not having to wait until patreon allows you to upload bigger files in it. Or something like that.
